All of the quilts on Hazel and Melvin's Room are designed by Rebbeca Yaker. She has designed for more than eight years for America's largest retailers. Then in '05 she decided to leave the corporate world and start an independent company focusing on updating products for babies. She has taken inspiration from the colors and patterns of the 1950s and made some precious things. It's just so sad they don't come in MY size!
The fabric designer is Amy Butler
she has a very great story of how she came to be where she is now---> here . You should read it because I don't think I could write it better than she does on her site. She has a good thing going! The fabric is lovely, and her husband coordinates the site, photography, and packaging. Which all are very nicely put together and impressive.
These ladies are two more that I can put on the list of people that I aspire to be like one day. They are truly following their dreams, and living their lives inspired and successful. How much better does it get?
